Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Herkings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mingos Barbocius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbocius is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: ecstasy of gold. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Herkings!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mingos Barbocius!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herkings avoids the head kick by Barbocius.
Barbocius dives in and grabs Herkings's left leg, looking for a takedown. Herkings pushes down on Barbocius's head and hops out.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Herkings throws a right and a left that both miss.
Herkings slaps away a takedown attempt from Barbocius, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Herkings throws a right hand that Barbocius ducks under and follows up with a left that Barbocius also avoids with ease.
Herkings fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Barbocius will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Barbocius shoots in looking for a takedown but Herkings manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barbocius's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Herkings comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Barbocius feints and as Herkings raises his hands in defense, Barbocius changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mingos Barbocius has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Barbocius throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Herkings tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Barbocius is in Herkings's guard.

Herkings on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Herkings tries to get out of the position.

Herkings throws a shot from downtown. Barbocius moves away and avoids it.
Barbocius shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Herkings sprawls well. Herkings wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barbocius gets slowly back to his feet.

That's time! Herkings's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Herkings has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barbocius is working away from the top position though.
Barbocius working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Barbocius is looking to take a break and control but Herkings is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mingos Barbocius hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Barbocius misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
