The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Jack wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is keeping the position.
Jack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jack sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jenkins 's guard.
Jack is looking to advance position but Jenkins won't allow it.
Jack uses his free foot to push down on Jenkins 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jenkins .
Jack is working for a guillotine from mount but Jenkins frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jack moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jenkins has worked his arm free - good work by Jenkins !

Jack thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jack advances to full mount.
Jenkins wants to control but Jack is having none of it.

Jenkins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jenkins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jack postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jenkins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jack, into his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jack is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins wants to get back to his feet.
Jack tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jenkins knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Jenkins is trying to control but can't.
Jack is pressing down on Jenkins 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jenkins is holding on for now.
Jack is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jack tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Jenkins is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jack asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Jack looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Jack tries to advance to mount but Jenkins denies him.
Jack is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jenkins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jenkins is looking for a sweep.
Jack is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jenkins is trying to escape and Jack transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jenkins is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jack! Very nice indeed!
