These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin throws a sloppy head kick
and Juice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Putin throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Juice to counter with a crisp jab.
Juice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Juice drives through and clinches with Putin against the ropes.
Putin leaning his opponent against the ropes.
Juice blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Putin throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Juice softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Juice with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Putin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Juice lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Putin being controlled against the ropes.
Juice lands with a light punch inside.
Putin fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Juice has hold of one of Putin's legs. Putin is fighting the takedown attempt but Juice gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Putin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Juice drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Juice as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Putin screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Juice! Nice submission victory there!
