The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vance tries to sprawl but Muerte drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Vance blocking the ground and pound attempt from Muerte.
Muerte missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Muerte frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Muerte pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

It looks like Bob Vance has been cut.

Muerte tries to control but Vance wriggling away.
Vance is working to get back to half guard.
Vance is bucking up trying to escape but Muerte cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jeez, Bob Vance's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
