Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocki Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viacheslav Eltsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rocki Balboa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa shoots in for a takedown but Eltsov shows good takedown defense.
Balboa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Eltsov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Balboa throws a push kick but Eltsov slaps the foot to one side.
A punch combination from Eltsov misses.
Eltsov swings widly with a right hand
and Balboa counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Eltsov's guard now.
Eltsov looking for a sweep. Not yet Eltsov, not yet.
Balboa working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Balboa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Eltsov sees it coming and defends easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Eltsov is on top in guard.
Balboa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Eltsov on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Balboa. Balboa obviously looking to wear him down.

Horrible takedown by Balboa or perhaps it was just good defense by Eltsov which made him look bad.
Eltsov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Balboa quickly recovers to half guard.

Balboa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Eltsov avoids it really well and circles away.
Rocki Balboa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Eltsov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Balboa pushes Eltsov off but Eltsov dives into side control.
Balboa is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Eltsov is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Balboa tries to lock up and control but Eltsov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Eltsov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Balboa is looking to escape.

Eltsov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

You get the feeling that Balboa really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Balboa tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Eltsov gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Viacheslav Eltsov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Balboa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Eltsov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Balboa manages to avoid it.

Balboa scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Eltsov is looking to clinch.
Eltsov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Balboa ducks under a wild hook from Eltsov.

so Eltsov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Balboa controls Eltsov momentarily but Eltsov frees himself.

Eltsov moves in looking to clinch but Balboa pushes him off.

and Balboa counters with a nice low kick that buckles Eltsov's knee momentarily.
Balboa throws a combination. Eltsov tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Eltsov wants to clinch up but Balboa keeps it at a distance.
Balboa misses with a takedown attempt
and Eltsov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Eltsov throws an overhand right that lands on Balboa's shoulder, as Balboa tries to avoid the shot.
Eltsov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Balboa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Viacheslav Eltsov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Eltsov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
