Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braddock tries for a takedown but Cara circles away easily
and Cara counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cara scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Cara takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cara wants to lay and pray for a moment but Braddock keeps working.
Braddock gets back to full guard.
Cara has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cara trying to control the position from guard on top but Braddock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cara throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Braddock works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Rey Cara wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Braddock doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cara counters with a takedown into side control.

Braddock wants to control but Cara postures up.
Braddock gets back to half guard.
Cara moves nicely into side control.
Cara tries to advance to mount but Braddock denies him.
Cara wants to control but Braddock is keeping him busy.
Braddock is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cara asserts his dominance and retains side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cara is really struggling to control Braddock but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Braddock is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Braddock is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cara is controlling him well.
Braddock manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Braddock is looking to improve his position.
Braddock is pressing down on Cara's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Cara is breathing heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Braddock wants to stand but Cara is controlling the position.
Braddock is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cara trying to control but Braddock postures up.
Braddock maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Cara could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Braddock has cracked it and Cara is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Braddock!
