Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Satoru Nakano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tupac Shukar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shukar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: hit em up. Satoru Nakano could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tupac Shukar's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nakano clinches up against the cage.
Nakano tries to land knees in the clinch but Shukar avoids the damage to the body.
Shukar can't break the clinch.
Shukar is trying to push Nakano away but Nakano has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Shukar is trying to break the clinch but Nakano is controlling him.
Nakano drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shukar gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Nakano keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Shukar's efforts to push away.

Nakano escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nakano throws a sloppy body shot
and Shukar counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Satoru Nakano has been cut.
Shukar scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Shukar scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nakano keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Shukar.
Shukar throws a shot from downtown. Nakano moves away and avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shukar scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nakano in his tracks.
Shukar lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Shukar displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Shukar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nakano shoots and misses
and Shukar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nakano throws a lazy head kick
enabling Shukar to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shukar throws a looping overhand right but Nakano ducks down to avoid it.
Shukar misses with a hook. Nakano ducked under it nicely.
Nakano doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shukar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Satoru Nakano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
