Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shelton Harrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slinky McDougle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrell comes to the cage accompanied by J. Cole - Blow Up. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrell throws a leg kick that is checked

and McDougle counters with a shoot takedown. Harrell fights it but they end up in guard.
McDougle won't allow Harrell to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harrell pulls McDougle in close to prevent any damage.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Shelton Harrell just wasn't active enough.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harrell, as that shot connected.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McDougle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harrell sprawls well. Harrell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McDougle gets slowly back to his feet.
McDougle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McDougle is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Harrell rather than just go for the knockout.

Harrell dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McDougle. That did some damage!

Shelton Harrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Harrell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Harrell clobbers McDougle with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and McDougle makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Harrell really felt that one!

That was a close round but Shelton Harrell did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McDougle tries to lock up and control but Harrell gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
