The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barba throws a one two combo.
Barba tries for a takedown but Odenkirk circles away easily
and Odenkirk counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Odenkirk lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Barba backs up against the cage.
Barba misses with a leg kick
and Odenkirk counters with a nice uppercut.
Barba misses with a takedown
and Odenkirk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Barba scores with a takedown into Odenkirk's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barba trying to control the position from guard on top but Odenkirk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Barba is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Barba drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barba jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Barba postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Odenkirk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Barba, into his guard.

Barba has a closed guard, preventing Odenkirk from standing up.

Barba looking for a guillotine here but Odenkirk defends easily.

Barba pushes a forearm under Odenkirk's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Odenkirk is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
