Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minard comes to the cage accompanied by Walk. Simpson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Devil on My Shoulder kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard misses with a wild body shot.
Simpson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Minard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Simpson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Simpson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Minard.
Minard connects with a nice looking jab.
Simpson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Minard is able to avoid easily.

Chuck Simpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Simpson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Minard stacks Simpson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Minard!
