Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Gibbons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferdynand Kiepski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferdynand Kiepski will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A jab-cross combination lands for Kiepski and sends Gibbons crashing to the mat! Kiepski follows him down to the mat - Gibbons regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gibbons is trying to maintain the position but Kiepski is very close to passing his half guard.

Kiepski seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

and Gibbons counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gibbons.

Gibbons breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kiepski goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Gibbons shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gibbons has hold of Kiepski's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kiepski manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kiepski is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Gibbons has control of Kiepski's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kiepski regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Gibbons has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
