Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rush Syckes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjen Robben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robben is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: AC/DC - For Those About To Rock. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syckes misses with a looping left.
Syckes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Syckes misses with an uppercut
and Robben counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A jab lands there for Robben.
Syckes misses with an uppercut
and Robben connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Robben slips a jab and a cross from Syckes.
Robben uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Syckes.
No joy there for Syckes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Syckes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Robben.
Syckes avoids the head kick by Robben.
Syckes lands a slapping body shot.
Robben dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Syckes. That did some damage!
Syckes works over Robben's head and body with a nice combination.
Syckes misses with a double jab.
Robben fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Syckes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Syckes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Syckes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rush Syckes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Syckes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Robben with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Syckes is breathing heavily.
An inside leg kick lands from Robben.

Robben lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Syckes takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Robben scores with a punch to the head.
Robben throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Robben lands a head kick. Syckes smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Syckes is rocked!
Robben throws a head kick but Syckes moves out of range.
Oh Syckes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheers as Robben lands an impressive looking overhand right. Syckes doesn't seem phased though.
Syckes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Robben throws a monster overhand right that drops Syckes! Robben follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
