The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suv wants to clinch
and Van Der Dick counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Suv is working an open guard so Van Der Dick takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Suv throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Van Der Dick was covering up waiting for the punch and Suv finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Suv in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Suv wants to control from the top but Van Der Dick keeps moving.
Van Der Dick is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Suv frees his head nicely. Oh but Van Der Dick has switched to an armbar! Suv is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
