Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ongoto Kakala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Kakala or perhaps it was just good defense by Hammer which made him look bad.
Kakala misses with a takedown attempt - Hammer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kakala shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hammer as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ongoto Kakala. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kakala shoots in looking for a takedown. Hammer tries to sprawl out of it but Kakala keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hammer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kakala changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hammer tries to avoid it but Kakala manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hammer to the ground. Hammer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kakala has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hammer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kakala has tightened it up now! Hammer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
