Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bebe Nose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexis Mandapat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Mandapat. No joy for Nose on that attempt.
Mandapat blocks a low kick nicely.
Horrible takedown by Nose or perhaps it was just good defense by Mandapat which made him look bad.
Nose misses with a series of wild punches.

Nose closes the distance and clinches up with Mandapat, looking for a takedown. Nose pushes Mandapat against the cage but Mandapat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mandapat lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nose throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mandapat's waist but Mandapat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nose off to one side.

and Nose holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Nose's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Nose tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nose tries to pull guard but Mandapat holds him up against the cage and eventually Nose drops back down to his feet.

Nose walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Oh Nose is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mandapat sends Nose crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mandapat is motioning to the referee to let Nose up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Mandapat cracks Nose on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nose falls backwards against the cage. Mandapat follows up with more strikes that drop Nose to his knees. Mandapat keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nose! This one is all over!
