Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zen Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Summer Madness (Extended Version) Remix . Ren Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ren Gracie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Gracie has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fury is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gracie.
Gracie tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Gracie is trying to improve his position.

Fury tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fury has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fury wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gracie, who protects the arm well.

Fury swings around for an armbar but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fury's guard.

Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Fury looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fury seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Fury escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fury has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gracie doesn't defend quickly enough and Fury has managed to lock this one up! Can Gracie escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Fury on a fantastic submission victory.
