Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Sugarol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cottoneye Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe has chosen Cottoneye Joe as his entrance music. Sammy Sugarol is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sammy Sugarol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cottoneye Joe!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe throws a right hand that misses
and Sugarol counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Joe misses with a left hand
and Sugarol counters with a straight right hand.
Joe looks to clinch
and Sugarol cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Joe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sugarol counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Joe misses with a hook
enabling Sugarol to counter with a crisp jab.
Joe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sugarol.
Joe wants to clinch
and Sugarol counters with a left to the body.
Sugarol takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Joe wants to clinch but Sugarol slips to the side
and Sugarol counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Joe down! Sugarol is looking to finish but Joe is intelligently defending himself.
Joe is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sugarol is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Joe is still in real trouble! Can Sugarol finish him?
Joe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sugarol controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Joe seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Joe looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sugarol slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sammy Sugarol wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Sugarol bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Joe's head backwards.
Joe misses with a combination
and Sugarol counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Cottoneye Joe has been cut.
Joe misses with a combination
and Sugarol scores with a counter punch that sends Joe to the canvas! Sugarol smells blood - he's punishing Joe with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Joe has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sammy Sugarol!
