Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marco Stefano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sako Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stefano's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Something Stupid - Frank Sianatra. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stefano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Sako Li has been cut.

Li fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stefano sprawls well initially but Li persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Li is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stefano doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Li.

Li looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Li is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Li is trying to work for a kimura but Stefano is defending well.
Stefano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Li on the ground.

Li seems to be looking for submissions.

Li is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stefano is just riding it out for now. Li eventually gives up the hold.

Stefano is looking to improve his position.

Li seems to be working for a kimura but Stefano defends the submission attempt.
Li moves nicely into side control.

Li has hold of Stefano's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Stefano tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Li cranks the arm and Stefano screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stefano, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
