The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valenzuela closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Deuce quickly recovers to half guard.
Valenzuela is trying to control the action in half guard but Deuce is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Valenzuela prevents Deuce from improving his position.
Valenzuela tries to pass to full mount but Deuce defends it.
Valenzuela not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Deuce blocking the ground and pound attempt from Valenzuela.
Deuce is looking for a sweep. Valenzuela is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Valenzuela throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Valenzuela decides to stand up.
Deuce is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Kyle Valenzuela has been cut.
Deuce looks to throw the jab but Valenzuela is out of range.
Valenzuela throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Deuce was covering up waiting for the punch and Valenzuela finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Valenzuela is sitting in close to Deuce's body. Deuce has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Valenzuela is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Valenzuela is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Deuce.
