The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

enabling Baltazar to counter with a crisp jab.

Check out the look on Chim's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baltazar is not content to let Chim control the position.
Chim looks up at the clock and then as Baltazar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chim smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Baltazar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chim on the ground.

Chim lands a decent elbow from side control.
Chim misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Chim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baltazar keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Chim is working to tighten is grip on Baltazar's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Baltazar has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Chim is really squeezing tight and eventually Baltazar passes out! Chim breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Dong Chim!
