The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Mousasi counters with a series of strikes. Lewis will be more careful next time no doubt.

Mousasi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

and Lewis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lewis lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Lewis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A nice combination there by Lewis.

Mousasi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mousasi tests Lewis's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lewis throws a hook but Mousasi avoids it easily.
Mousasi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lewis lands a really nice looking cross but Mousasi seems unphased.
Mousasi takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mousasi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Lewis. Mousasi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lewis throws a body punch but Mousasi moves out of range.
Mousasi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lewis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice body punch from Lewis.
Lewis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mousasi moves away.
Mousasi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lewis.
Mousasi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lewis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mousasi scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lewis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mousasi at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Lewis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mousasi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Lewis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mousasi on the side of the head.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Mousasi in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Lewis moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Mousasi! Lewis continues to tee off on Mousasi, landing with a left and a right! Lewis connects with a right hand that leaves Mousasi sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Lewis!
