Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rolex Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vaan Patricks!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patricks misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vaan Patricks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patricks throws a poor cross that misses
and Gracie counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gracie avoids the head kick by Patricks.
Patricks wants to clinch.
Patricks throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.
Patricks misses with a double jab
and Gracie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gracie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Patricks is looking to escape.

Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Patricks is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patricks forces his way into half guard.
Gracie moves into full guard.
Patricks is looking to advance position but Gracie has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Patricks tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Gracie looking for a guillotine from mount but Patricks is having none of it.
Gracie throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Patricks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gracie has isolated one of Patricks's arms. Patricks looking to fight him off but Gracie twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
