Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sack Hitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hitch throws a sloppy head kick
and Cummo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hitch closes the distance but Cummo moves to the side
enabling Cummo to counter with a crisp jab.

Cummo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hitch looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hitch is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cummo off and has taken his back!
Cummo wants to control his opponent's hands but Hitch gets his hands free.

Cummo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hitch gets his way!

Cummo covering up well and avoiding damage.
Hitch wants to control the position but Cummo frees himself and scrambles - Hitch manages to regain control in side control.

Hitch working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Cummo sneaks back into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Hitch unloads with some shots from mount but Cummo bucks and avoids them well.

It looks like Luke Cummo has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hitch cracks Cummo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hitch scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hitch is landing with some decent strikes but Cummo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That has opened up Luke Cummo's cut even more.

Hitch working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Cummo looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Hitch! Submission of the night perhaps?
