Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mui Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashawn Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rashawn Ross!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Ross swings widly with a right hand
and Thai counters with a stiff right hand.
A jab from Thai finds it's way through Ross's defenses.
Thai shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thai prevents Ross from improving his position.
Ross is trying to stand back up but Thai is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ross is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Thai scores with a couple of nice shots.
Thai perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Thai lands with a punch from half guard.
Ross trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Thai manages to pass to mount!

Ross is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Thai lands a big shot there that rocks Ross but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
It looks like Rashawn Ross has been cut.
Ross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thai fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Thai will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ross tries to hold on but Thai pushes him away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thai cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ross looks gassed!

Thai unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Ross wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Thai celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
