The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastich doesn't manage to clinch there - Boink circles away.
Boink misses the shot to the body.

Boink chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bastich can pounce on him.

Boink has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bastich.
Boink throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Bastich throws a head kick but Boink moves out of range.

Boink's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

It looks like Bouncy Boink has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Bastich counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Bastich throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bastich connects with a leg kick. Boink looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bastich.
Boink throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bastich dips to his left and cracks Boink with an uppercut!

Bastich fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boink.
Bastich tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bastich is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Boink rather than just go for the knockout.
Bastich cracks a nice hook into Boink's ribs.

Boink misses with a hook. Bastich ducked under it nicely.
Boink lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bastich circles away quickly and effectively.
Boink has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bastich.
Boink is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Boink is pawing at Bastich, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Bastich's nose. Bastich is badly hurt! Boink pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Bastich tries desperately to hold on but Boink is relentless in his assault! As Bastich receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Boink away and this one is in the books!
