Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Szybki Maksiu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Feigao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feigao falls off balance throwing a combination
and Maksiu counters with a straight right hand.
Feigao misses with a double jab
and Maksiu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Maksiu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Feigao is trying to defend but Maksiu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Feigao should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Feigao won't allow Maksiu to pass to mount.

Maksiu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Maksiu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Feigao does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Maksiu decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

and Maksiu counters by moving into the clinch.
Feigao is trying to break free.
Feigao gets underhooks to prevent Maksiu's takedown attempt.

It looks like Rafael Feigao has been cut.
Maksiu comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Maksiu manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Szybki Maksiu.
