Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julle Bulle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John White!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White fails in his attempt to clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for White.
Bulle throws an ugly left hook that misses

and White counters with a shoot takedown. Bulle fights it but they end up in guard.
White throwing strikes from guard but Bulle blocks nicely.
White must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bulle is controlling White's posture.

White drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and White jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
White working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
White throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

White trying to control but Bulle is working from the bottom.

White content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Bulle has locked up a guillotine! Bulle's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? White is holding on here and Bulle must be using up a lot of energy. White has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Bulle gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
