Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaru Hirai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawkins comes to the cage accompanied by Jay-Z - Empire State of Mind. Hirai has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Dawkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masaru Hirai!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hirai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dawkins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hirai napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dawkins tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Dawkins has an Americana. Hirai didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Dawkins is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Dawkins hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
