Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Philipe Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sagat under the eye.

Aoki drops back looking for a leg! Sagat is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sagat manages to kick Aoki off! Aoki jumps back into Sagat's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Sagat's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Sagat wants to get up but he can't break Aoki's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Aoki is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sagat throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Aoki's body to avoid the submission. Aoki has instead reached around Sagat's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Aoki arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
