Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antti Isotalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ganki Soodow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ganki Soodow was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isotalo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Isotalo controlling from the top position.
Isotalo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Isotalo happy to just control the position for now.
Soodow struggling a bit here.
Soodow tries to escape but Isotalo is in control.
Soodow can't do much from the bottom here.
Soodow gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Soodow is looking to get to half guard.
Isotalo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Soodow can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Isotalo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Isotalo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Soodow is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Soodow and Isotalo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Soodow avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Isotalo.
Soodow wants to control but Isotalo postures up.
Isotalo controlling from side mount.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Isotalo works to advance to full mount. Soodow defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Soodow prevents Isotalo from taking his back.
Isotalo goes for an armbar but Soodow turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Soodow.
Isotalo is breathing heavily.
Isotalo trying to control the position.
Isotalo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Soodow is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Isotalo.
Soodow decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Soodow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Soodow fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Isotalo checks it well.
Soodow fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Some bone on bone action there as Isotalo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Soodow misses the shot to the body.
Soodow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Isotalo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Isotalo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Isotalo is taking a breather. Soodow says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Soodow is refusing to be controlled, as Isotalo sits in half guard.
Isotalo is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Soodow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Isotalo shoots in and drives through. Soodow sprawls well.
Isotalo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Isotalo drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Isotalo seems to have locked his on tight now - Soodow screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Isotalo, as he picks up the win!
