The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apolderob closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Thyme to the mat! Thyme manages to get full guard.
Thyme keeping moving, preventing Apolderob from controlling successfully.
Apolderob must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Thyme wants to stand up but Apolderob is controlling him.

and Thyme counters with a right hand to the body.

Thyme stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thyme wants it to stay on the feet.
Apolderob looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Thyme counters with a good, hard body kick but Apolderob shrugs it off.

Thyme dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Apolderob. That did some damage!

Thyme lands with a thumping leg kick.
Apolderob seems to have recovered his senses.

Thyme throws a monster overhand right that drops Apolderob! Thyme follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
