Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kerma Pekoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamoud Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has chosen Roots Bloody Roots- Sepultura as his entrance music. Mamoud Jenkins looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekoni misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Pekoni turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pekoni manages to end up in side control.

Pekoni is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jenkins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jenkins reaches up to try and control the position but Pekoni seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Jenkins rolls and tries to escape and now Pekoni has his back!
Jenkins is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Jenkins is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Pekoni gets his way!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pekoni has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenkins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jenkins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pekoni pinned against the cage. Pekoni gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
