Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chauncey Peppertooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Piper will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Peppertooth counters with a nice uppercut.

and Peppertooth counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Piper has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Peppertooth is trying to keep an underhook but Piper manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Peppertooth has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Piper is working away from the top position though.

Piper is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That was a close round but I would say that Chauncey Peppertooth will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Piper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Peppertooth has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Piper has managed to get both his arms back between Peppertooth's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Peter Piper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Piper jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Peppertooth walks away with a smile on his face. Piper gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Peppertooth is looking to control Piper's arms but Piper gets an underhook and turns him. Now Peppertooth has his back to the cage.
Piper has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Peppertooth avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Peppertooth is nestled in close to Piper, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Piper is looking to improve his position.
Piper takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
