The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sams shoots in but no luck this time.
Dashoo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sams as he jumps to the side.
Sams is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dashoo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dashoo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sams tries to avoid it but Dashoo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sams to the ground. Sams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dashoo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dashoo but Dashoo pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dashoo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sams can't fight it off and eventually Dashoo manages to take the fight to the floor. Sams looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Sams is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dashoo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sams pulls his head out easily.
Sams is nestled in close to Dashoo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Sams is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sams looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Dashoo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sams's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sams's back!
