Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rowan Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calico James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage comes to the cage accompanied by "Twist of Cain" by Danzig. James has chosen Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage throws an ugly left hook that misses
and James counters with a stiff right hand.
Savage throws a head kick but James moves out of range.
Savage throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
James comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
James lands with a nice body punch.
James ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Savage tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Savage throws a sloppy head kick and James moves out of range easily.
Savage walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Savage moves away from the strike by James.
Savage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
James throws a hook but Savage avoids it easily.
James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Excellent takedown into side control there by James.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

James scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Savage to see if he's OK.
James tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
James is working Savage over with some ground and pound from side control.
Savage stops James from passing to mount.

James tries for a kimura but Savage is defending well.
Savage tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Well, with James on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Savage is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Savage is covering up but some of the strikes from James are getting through and doing damage.
Savage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for James on the ground.

Savage seems to have got his legs back now.

Savage covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
James is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Savage up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

James has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Savage is defending well but eventually James manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Savage has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
