Eminem - Where I'm At blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Hammer tries to clinch

It looks like Opponent Hammer has been cut.

Hammer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Opponent Hammer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gold but Gold pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hammer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gold is fending him off so far but Hammer persists. Nope, Gold circles away and we're back to standing.

and Gold counters with a crisp one two that drops Hammer! Gold thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hammer to his feet! Hammer is in big trouble!

Hammer tries for a takedown but Gold sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mike Gold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Opponent Hammer.
Hammer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gold counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Hammer to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Gold!
