The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foot looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Tayber darts in and clinches Foot up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tayber creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Foot works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

It looks like George Foot has been cut.
Foot takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Foot tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tayber swivels and escapes.

Foot fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tayber, pushing him back against the cage.
Foot jumps guard but Tayber stands there with Foot around his waist. Foot gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tayber works on Foot's body with a couple of short punches.

Foot drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tayber gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Foot. That's going to take a lot out of him.

With the fighters up against the cage, Foot throws an elbow but misses.

Jebidiah Tayber has got the better of the ground game so far.

Foot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tayber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tayber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tayber is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Foot knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tayber has control of Foot's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Foot regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Tayber is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Foot is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Foot flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Tayber anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Foot and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Tayber slips an arm under Foot chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Tayber has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Tayber is squeezing on Foot like an anaconda would it's prey. Foot fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
