Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Sheen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charlie Sheen has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charlie Sheen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.
Johnson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Johnson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Johnson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sheen's head.
Sheen wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Johnson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Sheen is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sheen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Johnson lands a nice short elbow.
Sheen taking some punishment here, with Johnson in his half guard.
Sheen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Sheen trying to hold on to Johnson's head to control him but Johnson postures up.
Johnson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Sheen tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Johnson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sheen's head.
Johnson looks to land a strike but Sheen avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Johnson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Sheen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnson!
Sheen tries to control but Johnson wriggling away.

Sheen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Johnson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Johnson on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Johnson looks gassed!
Sheen is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sheen misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sheen working the ground and pound from side control.
Sheen wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy.
Johnson being controlled for a moment.
Sheen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brandon Johnson dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Johnson keeps the fight on the outside.

Johnson tries to keep at a distance but Sheen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sheen can't get the takedown.

Sheen has hold of one of Johnson's legs. Johnson is fighting the takedown attempt but Sheen gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Sheen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Johnson is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sheen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Sheen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johnson is proving hard to escape from.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Sheen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed.

Johnson tries to keep at a distance but Sheen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sheen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Johnson backwards.
Sheen is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Sheen is pressed up against the cage. Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sheen down to the mat. Sheen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Johnson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sheen. That one must have hurt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sheen.
Sheen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Sheen darts in and clinches Johnson up against the cage.

Sheen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sheen shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Sheen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Sheen with that takedown attempt.
Sheen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet.

Sheen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Johnson fails with the takedown

and Sheen counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that.

Johnson keeping moving, preventing Sheen from controlling successfully.
Sheen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Sheen advances position into side control!

Sheen decides to stand back up. Sheen steps back and let's Johnson get back to his feet.

Sheen drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sheen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charlie Sheen dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Johnson fails with the takedown
and Sheen counters with a two punch combo.

Sheen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Sheen postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Johnson to stand up.
Sheen fakes the leg kick and cracks Johnson in the body.

Sheen moves into the clinch successfully.

Sheen pulls Johnson into guard.
Johnson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sheen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.
Sheen trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.

Sheen is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Johnson is working an open guard so Sheen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sheen is defended easily by Johnson.
Sheen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Johnson eats them both and turns towards Sheen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sheen.
Sheen wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy.
Charlie Sheen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sheen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Johnson down.

Sheen decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Sheen clinches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sheen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Johnson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sheen breaks from the clinch.
Sheen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sheen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Sheen is looking to advance position but Johnson won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Sheen postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Johnson to stand up.
Sheen misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Sheen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Sheen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sheen wants to control but Johnson manages to buck him off and is now in Sheen's guard! Nice work there by Johnson!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Charlie Sheen showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Sheen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
