Meridius is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nasty had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Meridius counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nasty's knee momentarily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Meridius.
Nasty throws a shot from downtown. Meridius moves away and avoids it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nasty sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
