Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Stoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoner comes into the arena with Battle Hymn blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoner jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Thompson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stoner looks to land a right hand but Thompson moved out of range.
Thompson looks for a takedown but Stoner sprawls well.
Thompson shoots in and drives through. Stoner sprawls well.
Stoner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thompson.
Stoner cracks Thompson with an open hand slap.
Thompson shoots in but Stoner avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Thomas Stoner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Thompson.
Stoner misses with a body punch

and Thompson moves into the clinch.
Thompson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stoner gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Stoner tries to break the clinch but Thompson is controlling the position.
Stoner prevents a takedown attempt there.
Stoner wants to get back to striking at distance but Thompson won't allow it.

Thompson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Stoner counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Thompson!
Thompson looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stoner has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Thompson works to full guard.

Stoner stands up from Thompson's guard - Stoner perhaps looking for a knockout.

Thompson dodges the punch combination from Stoner.
Thompson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stoner lands with a good body shot.
Stoner lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Thompson goes down and covers up as Stoner starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
