The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore trying to control but Carmichael is working from the bottom.
Moore prevents Carmichael from getting back to his feet.
Moore controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Carmichael will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Moore slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Carmichael wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Moore is working to tighten is grip on Carmichael's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Carmichael has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Moore is really squeezing tight and eventually Carmichael passes out! Moore breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
