Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joey Bolten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: AC/DC - Back in Black. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Lucas Black!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black blocks a head kick by Bolten.
Black throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A lazy left from Black finds it's target.
Bolten lands a front kick.
Black looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bolten pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bolten gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Black counters with a straight right hand.
Black blocks the body kick.
Bolten is looking to slow Black down with leg kicks.

Bolten pushes Black up against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Black throws an elbow but misses.

Bolten breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Black cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bolten looks for the body kick but Black saw that one coming.
Bolten pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bolten throws a leg kick but Black checks it.
Black throws a front kick that sends Bolten stumbling back into the cage.
Bolten bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bolten closes the distance and pushes Black back into the cage.
Bolten jumps guard but Black stands there with Bolten around his waist. Bolten gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Black just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bolten's brow.
Bolten wants to break the clinch but can't.

Bolten pulls guard.

Black stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Bolten throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Black holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Black misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bolten.
Black looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Bolten breaks from the clinch.

Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bolten can't escape the position.
Black throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bolten holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Black tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Black wants to control the pace but Bolten is squirming around nicely.

Black throws some wild stikes that Bolten manages to avoid easily.
Bolten tries to hold on but Black postures up.
Bolten keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Black is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bolten can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Black throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bolten because Black loaded up on that one.
Black has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bolten is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Bolten wants to hold on but Black pushes him away.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Black! Bolten is hurt baaadly! Black is firing away with more strikes - Bolten is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
