Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rj Paned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Fuller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rj Paned!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, John Fuller!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fuller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fuller is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Paned looking to pass the guard.
Paned showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Paned knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fuller on the ground.
Paned has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fuller is proving hard to escape from.

Fuller is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Paned is aware though and is defending well.

Fuller throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy.
Fuller trying to keep a closed guard but Paned is proving a slippery customer.
Paned stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fuller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paned wants to get up but he can't break Fuller's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Paned trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Paned is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Paned looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Paned could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Paned is working for a kimura but Fuller is defending it quite comfortably.
Fuller is trying to control but can't.
Fuller gets back to full guard.
Fuller controlling Paned's posture.
Paned is breathing heavily.

Fuller looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Paned wants to get up but he can't break Fuller's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Fuller kicks Paned off and gets to his feet.
Fuller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fuller throws a head kick that Paned semi-blocks.


It looks like Rj Paned has been cut.

Paned drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fuller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fuller will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Paned postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Paned looking to sit in guard and control but Fuller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Paned is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Fuller drops back looking for a leg! Paned is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Paned manages to kick Fuller off! Fuller jumps back into Paned's guard.
Fuller wants to control from the top but Paned keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but John Fuller will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Rj Paned's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Fuller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Paned has closed the distance and engaged Fuller in a clinch.
Paned is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fuller gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Paned pulls guard successfully.
Fuller trying to control but Paned is working from the bottom.
Fuller wants to get up but he can't break Paned's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Paned keeping moving, preventing Fuller from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Paned is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fuller throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Paned counters with a single leg into guard. Fuller didn't expect that.

Fuller had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Paned defends it easily.

Paned is sitting in close to Fuller's body. Fuller has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Paned is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Paned is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fuller.
