Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Artem Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristiano Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivanov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is undead. Machado is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Capítulo IV, Versículo 3. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Ivanov counter with a right hand.
Ivanov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Machado swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ivanov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ivanov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Machado sprawls well. Machado wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ivanov gets slowly back to his feet.
Machado throws a hook but Ivanov blocks it.
Machado swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Ivanov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Machado won't be happy with that.
Machado pushes Ivanov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ivanov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Machado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ivanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ivanov moves into full mount!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Ivanov is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Ivanov!
