Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Callao Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirby Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jay's choice of entrance music: Eye of the tiger. Miguel Callao Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Callao Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kirby Jay! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jay connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jay. Callao Jr struggling a bit here. Callao Jr is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Jay swings around for an armbar but Callao Jr sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jay's guard. Callao Jr looking to pass the guard. Callao Jr loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Callao Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jay is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Callao Jr is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jay manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jay looks gassed! Callao Jr tries to hold on but Jay pushes him away. Callao Jr is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jay moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Callao Jr has worked his arm free - good work by Callao Jr!
Callao Jr is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jay off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Callao Jr has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jay has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Callao Jr is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jay defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Jay is trying to defend against the choke here but Callao Jr has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Callao Jr Tightens the hold and Jay taps out furiously! Callao Jr displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Miguel Callao Jr!
