The crowd seem to be enjoying Jay's choice of entrance music: Eye of the tiger. Miguel Callao Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jay.

Jay swings around for an armbar but Callao Jr sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jay's guard.

Jay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Callao Jr tries to hold on but Jay pushes him away.
Callao Jr is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Jay moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Callao Jr has worked his arm free - good work by Callao Jr!
Callao Jr is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jay off and has taken his back!

Callao Jr has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jay has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Callao Jr is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jay defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Jay is trying to defend against the choke here but Callao Jr has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Callao Jr Tightens the hold and Jay taps out furiously! Callao Jr displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
