The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assassin digs a good body shot into Hunter's ribs.
Assassin looks to land a left hand but Hunter moved out of range nicely.
Assassin lunges at Hunter with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hunter's hand.

and Hunter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Hunter counters with a nice uppercut.
Assassin keeps the fight on the outside.

Assassin lands a really nice looking cross but Hunter seems unphased.

Assassin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hunter counters with a one-two to the body.
Assassin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Assassin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Assassin but Assassin pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nice defenses there by Hunter.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hunter slips a straight right by Assassin.
Assassin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Assassin moves out of range of the leg kick from Hunter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Assassin.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Assassin throws a right and a left that both miss.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Assassin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

enabling Assassin to counter with a crisp jab.
Assassin takes a swing at Hunter's ribcage but misses.

and Assassin counters with a nice body shot.

Hunter has his takedown stuffed
and Assassin counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Assassin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hunter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lager Assassin will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Hunter decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Assassin's guard.

Assassin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Assassin stands up over Hunter, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Hunter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Assassin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
