Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Ooka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jari Jutila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jutila has chosen The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooka walks into a straight right hand from Jutila.
Jutila throws a body punch but Ooka moves out of range.
Ooka throws a head kick but Jutila moves out of range.

Jutila gets caught napping as Ooka dives in and scores a takedown. Jutila manages to retain guard.

Ooka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ooka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ooka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jutila looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ooka is fending him off so far but Jutila persists. Nope, Ooka circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Ooka will probably get the nod.

Ooka thuds his right hand into Jutila's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ooka is looking to wear down Jutila with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Jutila cracks Ooka with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ooka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jutila shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ooka is trying to defend but Jutila finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jutila seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Paul Ooka just wasn't active enough.
Ooka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jutila as he jumps to the side.
Jutila changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ooka tries to avoid it but Jutila manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ooka to the ground. Ooka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Ooka.
Well Ooka has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
