Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kichiro Takaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Junk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takaki comes to the cage accompanied by Kagaya, Shu, Takaki - Alexey Rybnikov . Jack Junk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junk takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Takaki rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Junk counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Takaki misses with a hook
and Junk counters with a stiff right hand.
Takaki misses with an uppercut.
Junk throws a predictable looking body shot
and Takaki counters with a nice body shot.
Takaki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Takaki misses with a left hand
enabling Junk to counter with a crisp jab.
Junk throws a series of punches but Takaki avoids them all with ease.
Takaki scores with a leg kick.
Takaki clobbers Junk with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Takaki moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Takaki throws a lazy uppercut
and Junk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A clash of legs there as Junk blocks the low kick.
Junk tries to clinch
and Takaki counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Junk misses with a combination
and Takaki counters with a straight right hand.

Takaki throws a jab when Junk was well out of range.
Junk slips a jab from Takaki.
Takaki jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Takaki avoids the body shot from Junk.

Takaki throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Junk closes the distance looking to clinch
and Takaki counters with a straight right hand.
Takaki throws a front kick that sends Junk stumbling back into the cage.
Takaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takaki throws a head kick but Junk moves out of range.

Takaki scores with a crisp jab that stopped Junk in his tracks.
Junk avoids a kick to the body.
Junk checks a low kick from Takaki.
Takaki misses with a right hand
and Junk counters with a two punch combo.
Junk throws a half hearted mid kick.
Junk throws a shot from downtown. Takaki moves away and avoids it.
Takaki throws an off balance right hand
and Junk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Junk smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Junk misses with a right hand
and Takaki counters with a two punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Junk moves out of range of the leg kick from Takaki.
Junk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The fighters circling - Takaki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
No luck for Junk with that takedown attempt.
Takaki misses with a low kick.

Junk connects with a body shot that sends Takaki's belly button to the back.
Takaki swings for the body but Junk moves out of range.
Takaki lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Takaki throws a chopping leg kick but Junk manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Junk keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Takaki takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Junk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Takaki has Junk pushed against the cage.

Junk ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Junk no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Takaki is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Takaki stopping the sweep attempt from Junk.

Junk is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Takaki frees his head nicely. Oh but Junk has switched to an armbar! Takaki is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
