Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calico James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Chiddy Bang - Truth . James has chosen Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pat White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Calico James!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches White on the side of the head.
White misses with a right hand

and James counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
James working over White with some ground and pound. White looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
White tries to get to full guard but James has control of the leg.
James trying to control the action but White is working from the bottom.
Still in half guard, James seems content to control.
White is staying active underneath James, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
James with the ground and pound but White uses the opportunity to regain guard.
James in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
White trying to keep a closed guard but James is proving a slippery customer.
White will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
White keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully.
James slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for James on the ground.
White is trying to escape the position but James is controlling the position.
It looks like James might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
James's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
White is trying to work for a sweep but James has mounted him!
James lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

James looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
White is desperately trying to improve his position but James has a good base and remains in mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
James scores with a couple of good head shots there.
James can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as White is looking to escape.

It looks like Pat White has been cut.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
James landing shots from mount.
James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
White tries to hold on but James pushes him away.

James breaks from White's wrist control and lands an elbow.


Pat White's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jeez, Pat White's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pat White's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
