Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marc Dressler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Name (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dressler comes to the cage accompanied by Raptile - Fight Back. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Name!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Name tries to bum rush Dressler with a series of wild strikes but Dressler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dressler slips a jab and a cross from Name.
Name uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Name lands a slapping body shot.
Name looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Name misses with the combination.
Name listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Name misses with a two punch combination.
Name getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Name has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Name might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Dressler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Name can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dressler has control of Name's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Name regains control of the situation pretty easily.
